April 27th to 19th 2026 Guwahati. Was invited as faculty for the 3rd National Annual Conference of Association of Robotic and Innovative Surgeons. Presented on ” Execution of Robotics TAR ” . Got opportunity to have Darshan of Kamakhya Devi along with my dear friend Bishnu Sharma. Always feels great to meet and interact with colleagues . Learning continues

Laparoscopic Hernia Skills Course

BHILAI 26th and 27th July 2025 An IAGES Initiative led by Dr Sanjay Sonar. Got an opportunity to demonstrate Laparoscopic ETEP RS for a Complex Ventral hernia . Delivered Lecture on Lap ETEP for Groin hernias. Rare opportunity to visit Bhilai Steel Plant with Dr Rajesh Khullar Sir was a life time memorable event

Hernia Essentials Program of Asia Pacific ( Bangalore )

It was always a pleasure to interact with these renowned faculties and share your thoughts in the field of herniology. This hernia Essentials program involved Didactic lectures , video presentations , quiz and virtual live operative workshop covering the entire gamut of hernia surgery based on International guidelines. I was the coordinator and convenor of this program which was attended by 50 surgeons across the country . Among 50 surgeons , 35 surgeons will be eligible for their 5 days observership course in our hospital between 21st July to 1st week of September 2025.These 35 surgeons are also eligible to receive Diploma in Hernia Surgery degree endorsed by Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh during the Annual Congress of APHS /HSI Delhi Sep 18th – 20th 2025.

Hernia Essentials program of Asia Pacific ( Indore )

Hernia Essentials program of Asia Pacific Hernia Society -Indore July 4th and 5th 2025. Vishesh Jupiter Hospital, Indore. Got an opportunity to be as a faculty for this training course in basic hernia surgery which was attended by 75 surgeons across the country.

Rajasthan Hernia Society

RAJ Hernia Solutions 4, 8^th June 2025.. Was fortunate to be invited for the 3rd consecutive Time by RAJ Hernia Society for their Annual program. Thank Dr Jitendra Chawla , Director Minimal Access and Gen Surgery , Fortis Escorts Hospital Jaipur, President RAJ Hernia Society as well as Vice President West Zone Hernia Society of India for the invite.

Thank all the members of RAJ hernia society for the encouragement, support ,inspiration and hospitality. It was always nice to meet Dr Manish Baijal , President Elect Hernia Society of India who has been supportive throughout my career. Thanks to Dr Vivek Bindal, the Robotic Surgery expert of our country for sharing his views on Robotic hernia surgery. Presented virtual live operative session – ETEP RS for Ventral hernia. Had a friendly debate /discussion with Dr Manish Baijal on IPOM plus vs ETEP for small ventral hernia. Was a part of panel discussion on Complications of Ventral hernia surgery moderated by Dr Vivek Bindal. Nice to meet Dr Jitendra Kacholia who has been trained in our Institute and came all the way to meet me.

ASI Hubli/Dharwad

Invited as a Guest Faculty for a Live Operative workshop on Hernia conducted by ASI Hubli/Dharwad Chapter at KMC RC , Hubli on 22nd Feb 2024. This workshop was led by Dr Gurushanthappa Sir, a dynamic personality, a great surgeon and a Teacher. I was also felicitated for my contribution to Laparoscopic Hernia Surgery and training. This was attended by 150 enthusiastic surgeons .

Demonstrated 5 Basic and advanced Laparoscopic hernia cases along with my colleague Dr Marina Thomas – TAPP, Bil TEP, IPOM plus , ETEP RS , ETEP TAR which was well appreciated. It was an honour to perform in front of Dr Soppimath Sir,one of the senior most surgeons of Hubli and one of the firsts to start laparoscopic surgery in our State. Thank Dept of Surgery , Dr Soppimath , Dr Gurushanthappa , Dr Vijay Kamat, Dr Suresh Hucchannavar , Dr Shilpa , Dr Byakadi , Anesthesia and the entire OT team for the invite, hospitality, inspiration ,support and encouragement.
