It was always a pleasure to interact with these renowned faculties and share your thoughts in the field of herniology.
This hernia Essentials program involved Didactic lectures , video presentations , quiz and virtual live operative workshop covering the entire gamut of hernia surgery based on International guidelines.
I was the coordinator and convenor of this program which was attended by 50 surgeons across the country . Among 50 surgeons , 35 surgeons will be eligible for their 5 days observership course in our hospital between 21st July to 1st week of September 2025.These 35 surgeons are also eligible to receive Diploma in Hernia Surgery degree endorsed by Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh during the Annual Congress of APHS /HSI Delhi Sep 18th - 20th 2025.

July 4th and 5th 2025. Vishesh Jupiter Hospital, Indore. Got an opportunity to be as a faculty for this training course in basic hernia surgery which was attended by 75 surgeons across the country.
Proud feeling to be as a faculty and operate alongside Dr Rajesh Khullar, President Asia Pacific Hernia Society who has inspired many surgeons with his skills and techniques of TEP for groin hernia ,amongst which I am one of many and Dr Lakshmi Kona Madam who has been an excellent Laparoscopic surgeon who has trained many in the field of herniology.
Got an opportunity to demonstrate Lap Bilateral TAPP mesh repair and IPOM plus during a live operative workshop.

Nice to meet Dr Jitendra Kacholia who has been trained in our Institute and came all the way to meet me.
ASI Hubli/Dharwad :
Invited as a Guest Faculty for a Live Operative workshop on Hernia conducted by ASI Hubli/Dharwad Chapter at KMC RC , Hubli on 22nd Feb 2024. This workshop was led by Dr Gurushanthappa Sir, a dynamic personality, a great surgeon and a Teacher.
I was also felicitated for my contribution to Laparoscopic Hernia Surgery and training. This was attended by 150 enthusiastic surgeons .
Demonstrated 5 Basic and advanced Laparoscopic hernia cases along with my colleague Dr Marina Thomas - TAPP, Bil TEP, IPOM plus , ETEP RS , ETEP TAR which was well appreciated. It was an honour to perform in front of Dr Soppimath Sir,one of the senior most surgeons of Hubli and one of the firsts to start laparoscopic surgery in our State.
